Review Viper 10x42 HD vs. Swarovski EL Range 8x42

Between Matt and me, we've got a pile of glass to test for 2018. I've been testing the Vortex Viper 10x42 the last few days. I don't own another 10x so I put them against my go-to 8x42 EL Range Swarovskis. I thought it might not be a fair comparison, but I was surprised at how well the little Vipers did. The video on resolving power is in the next post. I know it's not scientific but gave me an objective measure to compare. I'll be doing some twilight testing in the next few days too so watch for that video.

The eye relief is good enough to make for good tripod glassing

OK, next video is done: Twilight testing on the 10x42. I did a simple, unscientific test putting the Viper 10x42s against the Swaro' EL 8x42. Results in video.
