Yep, spring is a great time to get out to catch the birds in their full plumage. I have a new lens on my list that I hope to have in my kit for this spring and summer. What did you shoot those wigeon with?

This one is from a couple years ago. Not the best but I like that it captures the essence of "water off a duck's back"

From earlier this summer when we were taking the side by side into some mountain lakes. Mountain Ben Lake in Western Montana. The only true class 4 trail on this side of the state

Ross my neighbor up there used to hunt that quite a bit back in the day, wife killed a 48" shiras and they killed a bunch of elk when he was working for the outfitters. Heard its great when you get a huge dump of snow, animals start flowing out

The recent photos you guys have posted are fantastic. Can somebody tell me if a Pentax K-50 with a reasonable lens might produce quality photos like these?
