Has anyone tried the Olympus om-d e-m10 ii? I am looking for an entry level camera for videoing hunts something that is budget friendly. This looked like a good option does anyone have any other suggestions?
I would go with the Panasonic G85. The Panasonic's are set up better for video and take better video than the Olympus cameras. I like the M4/3 format because the lenses are smaller and its easier to get more focal length out of a lens which is good for videoing wildlife. Also the Panasonic's shoot 4K that you can use to zoom even more crop and pan around in the scene of a static shot. I don't believe the EM10ii has a mic in port either.
Here is an example of 4K flexibility. Panasonic G80 / G85 - Digital Zoom vs 4K Crop vs Ex-Tele - YouTube
