I have narrowed my search down to these two. I will mostly take still pictures and rarely video. This would be my do everything camera for travel, hunting, backpacking. I decided I don't want a collection of lenses and appreciate the help from the A6300/6500 thread.
Any suggestions as to which model to get? Is the touch screen on the 10IV worth the price difference?

When I was researching almost everything I found suggested the only reason to bump up to the IV from the III is for the new video features. I don't find that I miss a touchscreen with my III.

I agree, unless the video is important go with the 3. I am not a fan of touch screen and always turn it off. When you decide, as always we will take good care of you.

The video on the 3 is no slouch either. I think the main difference in a practical sense is autofocus. Are you using it for kids? Birding? If no, then the 3 is good. If yes, get the 4, no question.
