Digiscoping and onX Performance

Looking to get a new phone. Going to stay with an iphone so I can facetime with the family.

I do a fair amount of digiscoping and I rely on my GPS with the onXmaps app.

Anybody have much experience comparing the iphone 8 with the iphone X in the field? Appreciate your opinions.

I haven’t used the 8 but I do have the X. It works great for me so far, nothing mind blowing over the iPhone 6 as far as app functionality, the camera is better then the older versions and battery life seems to be better as well.
