Samyang/Rokinon 12mm f2

I've read all the posts and threads in here on this lens.

Anyone have any updated thoughts or comments on this lens?

Looking for those close grip and grins, landscape, and night photos.

Any killer deals on it anywhere?

Anyone have any negative thoughts on the manual focus?

I have used mine for some night photography, and enjoy it, albeit the little chances I have had to use it so far.

I don't have this one but I have the 14mm f2.8. I use it almost exclusively for astro/night shots and landscape. So, I just taped my manual focus ring at infinity so I wouldn't have to mess with it. Now, if you are wanting to use it for close shots, that won't work and you'll have to deal with manual focus though most cameras have some sort of focus indicator.

For shots of the stars, as long as it doesn't have bad coma, it should be a great lens being fast and wide.
