I too shoot the R15 in 223 for all my yote hunting! Decent weight, easy to handle, and very reliable shooting 55gr. I have mine topped with a Vortex 6-24x50 that my fiancé bought me for Christmas a couple years ago.. If I chose the scope, I would keep with a lower power like I had it on before as when I call coyotes they are rarely over 100yrds.

I haven't had a chance to put it to work but my ar15performance 6.8SPC with a 16" socom 5R barrel is the one that will be heading out with me. Set up with a vortex viper 2-7x32 it shoots 110 hornady match ammo to 1/2" now that I dropped a timney in it. I hope to sit down and roll some 95ttsx loads to see how they shoot.

Primarily use the Tikka T3 in 22 250 when coyote hunting. Just recently added a 17WSM to use in areas that don't allow centerfire rifles. Haven't gotten my shot(75ish yards) to test the little 17 on a yote yet.

300 black out with suppressor in an AR platform. Real quiet and allows for multiple shots when multiple critters are around.

I just sold one of those. The 95gr TTSX is an excellent bullet for the 6.8. I load mine with 29.5gr AA2200 powder, SSA brass, and CCI 41 primers. More of a hog or deer round than predators.....but whatever works.

Been using a tikka t3 in 243 with a 65gr vmax and really like it. it is super flat and just lays them out. But i thought i needed an AR so i bought a Rock River 20" Coyote and assembled my own lower for this year.

I just got a ruger 22-250 but I haven't had the chance to go shoot it yet. Its going to be my dedicated yote gun. Otherwise I also have a R-15 in 223.

.338 win mag...granted I've only ever shot 1 predator and it was during elk season. Did a heck of a number on the coyote. No tracking required. Lol
