Gray fox

Done a little hunt after work yesterday evening/night and managed to call in a few Gray fox. Got one and missed one, and saw another one but couldnt get a shot at it cleanly, predator hunting sure is fun when your seeing them!!

I found him in the neighbors driveway and knew something was wrong with him. Scooped him up in a blanket and put him in the back of my truck. Got to the house and called a local shelter. I was told he had parvo. Grabbed my hatchet and gave him a quick thump on the back of the noggin. Skinned and tanned him over the course of the next few weeks.

Not as exciting as it originally sounded.

I killed 2 one afternoon with my bow. I've quit shooting foxes and bobcats, though. I will only shoot coyotes.

I got one this evening with the .17hmr. ~125 yards, Icotec rabbit in distress and a cheap battery spinning tail decoy.
