I can’t compare to those, but I’m a 34 in Kuiu attacks and Prana Zion’s and the mediums fit great. They’ve got a Velcro waist adjustment on the sides to snug them in our out as well. Zippered vents on the side too. Really nice pant

They are a thicker pant than the Zion’s and a tougher material than the Attacks. I would put them on par with the Timberlines.
