According to the link he was charged with moving wild elk and stealing bighorn heads. Robby talks about him in his book and latest podcast with epic outdoors.
It's a good read, my dad has a copy.

I've read his book as well, own it. That said, is what he wrote in it even true? Since the majority of the bucks were poached, how can one know if what he's writing about has any merit. Serious question...and I realize the answer, unless from him, would be pure speculation.
