I'm John from central CA. Just recently started hunting deer and bear on public lands here in CA. Really hooked on the sport. Bought a Mathews Halon 6 last week for my first bow. Can't wait to extend the season. Heading to Montana in a few weeks for spring bear.

This site is a great resource and I appreciate all the contributors. Thanks.

I hunted d5 last season and plan on doing the same this season. I would also like to try for bear in the yoll a bolly wilderness.

I am from the Modesto area.

Right on. D5 has a good population of bears also. Im outta modesto also. Ill usually hunt d6 or d5 ontop of a zone. Good luck.
