What up! FNG from Texas. Cliff note version: I was introduced to the hunting world harvesting whitetail with a rifle in the Hill Country and chasing waterfowl all over the Gulf Coast. I'm a big Earn It type of guy where nothing usually comes easy where I always feels like I'm paying a dollar more or hiking a mile further to get or accomplish what the guy before me did. I can say most times I'm fine with that because it only enhances the experience. I have 2 kiddoes, a 4 year old girl going on 16 and a 16 month old little man, as well as, a beautiful wife who is surprisingly not the most outdoorsy woman but will cook and eat what I harvest year in year out. Right now I have my sights set on hunting the West more & more. With that comes a lot of research through books, magazines, social media personalities, and here lately podcasts. I wanted to join a couple of forums and rokslide was one I knew needed to be on my list. Anyways thanks for having me and I hope to contribute where I can.
