I grew up in Westfield WI. Shot my first buck with a 20 ga JC Higgens bolt action. After college, my wife and I headed for Alaska when I came home one day and announced that I quit my job. She was 6 months pregnant with our first child. No job and we didn't know a soul. Luckily, I found work quickly and began living my dream of traveling all over Alaska and having someone pay me to do it! We had some combination of Caribou, Moose, Sheep, Salmon, and Halibut in the freezer for 15 years.
Eventually I got transferred back to Wisconsin of all places. I still hunt in my childhood haunts around Westfield. The one exception is that I am limited to the Public lands.
