FNG Transitioning from Whitetails to Backcountry

I grew up bowhunting Whitetails in North Texas and also some in Kansas. I have been itching to do some backcountry stuff for a while now, and finally found a buddy that is as into it as I am. I have found a ton of good info on here, and decided it was time to quit "lurking" and start sharing my thoughts a little. We both have 3 points in Wyoming for Deer and are looking at doing an early season High Country bow hunt next year so I figured it would be a good time to start asking questions!
