Glad to have found this forum and look forward to interacting here and learning from other members. I love hunting deer and varmints with any implement I can get my hands on. I bow hunt, but have to confess I love pulling the trigger on a precision rifle and efficiently dispatching game with one of my own hand loads. I've been wanting to get more into long-range shooting/hunting as of late and have been having fun with my 6.5 X 47 Lapua on crop damage duty on some local farms. I've also got a 6.5-284 Norma on the way and will be developing loads for that later this spring. I'm limited to about 400 yards on the farms I hunt but hope to get out west someday and really test my skills on some different critters in different terrain.
