FNG from Ncf

Hey all

I live in north central Florida and shoot a bow, making my way out west for a couple weeks mid September (ID) to try my hand at some elk with a buddy... slowly collecting gear and looking for some camo and sleeping bag and pad right now, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it... I’ve been lurking for a while and started training a couple months ago with an Alice pack and have been reading through elk 101’s online course... where are the holes in my game? What do I need to make sure I do? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Welcome! Don't over think the gear you need. Talk to folks on here for sure, many will help you out. Just be honest and up front with what you have, your perspective on what you want/need, and most will be able to point you in the right direction. My general advise is start small and practical, build as your obsession grows!
