Just a noob western hunter from Wisconsin. Was last out to Colorado on a muzzleloader cow tag 13 years ago before high school. Routt NF whooped my ass the first two days but the views are unforgettable. Last semester of nursing school coming up this fall and baby due in July wont leave me with much hunt time this fall, but have a rifle horse hunt with my dad and retired guys planned for fall '19. Primarily a bow hunter and not afraid of a heavy pack, elevation is the killer. Have used a no name frame to hike 60-80 lb loads of water on the regular. Dropping the coin finally on some Kifaru gear, much better camo, and quality boots with next fall in my sights. Gonna have to tone my flabby tree stand core up too.
