If you haven’t heard of The Fallen Outdoors, you should check it out. We have chapters in 42 states, currently and it is a great way to get out with guys that have common interests and backgrounds. I have set up an archery Elk Trip for Idaho this coming September and have a chat group of around 14 interested guys. We obviously won’t all hunt together but I am using that chat group to motivate guys to try a hunt that they might not have thought was possible due to not having a partner or the expansive list of other reasons that get in the way of that first backcountry hunt.

You have nothing to lose, you might as well give it a shot. I know that sharing a great hunting experience with a guy that has a common background is a very rewarding thing. It keeps me on an even keel and is almost as fun as when I take my kids hunting.
