Anyone near Aspen,CO?

Anyone hunt or live near the Aspen area? I'm planning a diy August elk hunt in 47/471 and am going to spend a week or so in July scouting, backpacking, and learning the unit. Always good to meet fellow outdoorsmen in the area. Pm me if you are planning something similar this year, it would be good to compare notes and strategies with someone more familiar with the area. I'm driving in from Texas. Thanks!
