I realize that - I was just pointing out to the guy that said he didn’t know of any state where it’s legal to kill an elk in June, that in Texas, it is. There are free range, fair chase elk in West Texas that you can legally hunt all year.
I’m not talking about high fence operations. It’s a...
Because elk were extirpated from Texas and reintroduced, they're now considered an exotic (which is ludicrous). Just like pigs and axis deer, you can hunt them 24/7-365 in TX. Even at night. I believe even on State land, though there may be park-specific restrictions on off-season hunting.
I'm looking to trade my 1 year old 26 inch Tactical Frame for a 24 inch Tactical. Must be the new gen frame.
I'd like to keep my belt - trading the frames only. My frame is coyote brown and in very good shape. I've worn it primarily for training - only one week in the field. Can send...
I use my Tarryall as my travel bag. The open sleeve in the front is perfect easy access for my laptop and a few file folders. I have not yet had a flight where I couldn't get it to fit in the overhead even when loaded for 3 days with PPE. My ONLY complaint came up just last week when I made...
No worries. The AMR is a great do it all pack. Very well designed for compressing down. My main compartment carried my water bladder. The two large front pockets and a guide lid gives all the space you need. And the great thing is you have like 6k inches of extra space for meat if you kill...
I used my AMR on a 5-day drop-camp hunt this season in daypack mode the whole time. I experienced no "flop." The bag was basically completely flat all week and worked perfectly.
I ended up packing a small load, probably 30 pounds or so, out roughly 14 miles. Way less than the AMR's capacity...
I think a lot of people would be surprised at how this bag looks compressed to day pack mode. I love mine.
The great thing about this design is the outer pockets being mounted on the back of the bag, rather than the sides, which allows for full size compression while still have a ton of...
Thanks Tim. I've got a Seek Outside Tipi and stove. Looking to add a Kifaru para or super tarp with annex and trying to figure out if my Seek Outside stove pipe would be compatible. Website says it has a 3.125 inch diameter.
