I’m an Idaho resident and shed hunt in 2-3 different states every year. I personally never see that many non resident shed hunters locally. It must be worse in other areas.
I do not think Idaho sees the big influx of non residents like I see in the surrounding states.
I’m curious the reasoning...
This thread isn’t even about resident vs nonresident. It’s about what can be done to help that doesn’t involve money and we can’t even do that without someone bringing up resident vs nonresident

My boy has a Rugar American youth model. I believe it is 18”. We are shooting the 90 grn acubonds with 43grns of Imr4831. He has had really good luck with it so far.

I usually just keep adding layers. The Keniai with a super down on top of it and then a Yukon rain gear…If I’m not going to far from the truck I will take a Klim snowmobile coat.

I am using a similar set up. Slik 624. I replaced the center column with carbon fiber and swapped out all the hardware with Titanium. I am using a skeletonized pistol grip head from outdoorsmans.
I am intrigued with the idea of removing the bottom leg sections. Might have to try that.
