I have never met Bob but I am very good friends with two brothers whom have guided for him , and they speak very very highly of him..you are in good hands with Bon M !
Nickziegler is 100 % spot on with his list. I have been to BC the last four years on a Goat hunt and returning this fall for another. Not much to add or take away from his list.. Now with that said, get in the absolute best shape you can get into and then double that.. for me hiking is all...
Good optics like Swaro Leica, Zeiss is kinda like comparing Snap On tools to Sears Craftsman...yes I know you can fix your car with craftmans tools.. Walk thru A professional automotive service shop or dealership and 95 % of the mechanics will not have Sears tools. I would venture to say that...
I have them. Swaro had them on sale thru Coffman and Sons at SCI in Feb. I have the els also..The CL is a fantastic optic in my opinion. Much more compact than full size glass. 1/3 the price. I have been buying top of the line Swaro and Leica for 15 years or so. I am glad I purchased them.
I use the APO with the ATX scope 65mm and 95 mm . Using it on a Nikon D5500 and a D7100 Amazing simple, I have the Swaro balance rail. I would assume it would be the same on any camera the APO fits on.
