    Clothing for Turkey hunt AND Elk hunt in Colorado

    Welcome! I use the Ascent clothing for spring turkey and archery elk. You will need a good facemask (or paint) and some gloves, especially for turkey. Don’t forget to take precautions for tics. Permethrin has never failed me.

    Corrugate guide pants or Sitka ascent pants?

    I've had good luck with the FL pants. I just picked up the ascent pants and shirt for a warm weather hunt but not had a chance to wear them. Use caution if ordering online because they run small.

    Replace GPS with Inreach?

    I would be nervous about running my battery down on my InReach. I use Gaia on OnX previously downloaded maps on my iPhone in airplane mode. I have a new in box Garmin MT600 that is just collecting dust because this has worked so well for me.
