I just recently realized this bull is the same bull that was at the top of my hit list last year. He had a small point started on his left main beam making him barely a 6X7 last year. He's a clean 6X6 this year with better mass and tine length. I love seeing this bull again!
I swapped out my trail camera memory cards Friday and was happy to see this same bull on another wallow. He has put a little more length on his fourths, fifths, and most noticeably his main beams. I hope to see him from my tree stand come archery season!
I was swapping out the memory cards on my trail cameras this past weekend and had a thought. Wouldn't it be nice if there was an SD card reader that plugged into my iPhone or connected with it via WiFi or blue tooth?
Just wondering if anyone is aware of any such device/adapter that would allow...
I swapped out memory cards this weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see 4 bull elk so far. One of them looks close to being topped out, but I think he may add a little more tine length. The photos of the big bull were on July 3rd and his points were still rounded rather than pointed. I'd be...
Congratulations on getting your first pics on trail cams. I have to warn you, it gets very addicting. I just started using trail cams last year, and by the start of archery season, I had over 25 different bulls on my cameras. My nephew and I both tagged out on branch antler bulls by the second...
I got some photos of a bull on my trail camera on July 3rd. The bull's antlers seem to be fully developed and I was wondering if he will gain much more tine length in the next month and a half. I was surprised to see a bull with antlers this large this early in the summer. So, what are your...
I'm new to the site, just found it this week. I just started using trail cams for elk last year. I put them up late June and checked them every 2 to 3 weeks. I got a lot of deer, moose, and coyotes early on. I didn't get my first elk pics until July 23, but once I started getting them they...
I just found this site this week. I saw it listed on another forum site as a location for someone to find a used Swarovski spotter. I like what I see so far. I'm a lifelong resident of Idaho. I've hunted Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. I've hunted big game with rifle, muzzle loader...
Yak, I’m new to this site, so this is my first post. I found out that there isn’t much out there on trail cams and elk. I was in your shoes a year ago. I had never used trail cams for anything. I am now over 50 years old and decided to give tree stand hunting a try, also something I had never...
