Do you have it sitting on something solid? I came across a scrap of 1" thick marble and have mine sitting on that now and it seemed to help. I also remove the black pan that the powder pan sits on when it's not in use. Not sure if that really helps much but I had a guy mention it to me 12-13...
The 130 HVLD has been my primary hunting bullet for 10 years or more and has worked great. I’m now shooting the 130 otms just because that’s all I could get my hands on
If I was going to hunt out of a box blind to a max range of 3-400, I probably wouldn’t worry about it but I’m also of the opinion, why not? It doesn’t hinder you in any way.
Been making charcoal fueled camp chair heaters for a few years. Hasn't really been profitable yet but that should change this year as my processes improve and I add accessories. I had some carrying cases sewn up last year that they helped sales tremendously
I sent in a Colorado Tripod Company ballhead for repair and told them the issue was my fault and would pay for it. I paid to ship it there but they repaired it and sent it back free of charge. I was pretty impressed.
I can see what you're saying but it's an apples and oranges comparison in my opinion. Those guys aren't sharing their process because joe blow public doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. It's not because they have some secret sauce.
Maybe I'm the outlier...
Oh I'm aware. Nobody was looking for a debate and methods weren't mentioned. I have just never heard anyone compare it to a hunting spot. It's just odd to me is all.
I looked at these pretty hard last year but theres now way I could buy one, especially from their custom shop, instead of supporting a small knife maker. There are some pretty damn talented knife makers out there that'll make you what you want for the same price or less
