Where can a guy wilderness camp and have good fishing? I am thinking about Council Bluff Lake but things are tight right now so if I can find something similar in the National Forest for free that would help. I'm planning 7/19-7/22.

That's awesome, I'm back here in MO cheering you guys on! I'm down from 185# to 160# (I'm only 5'5) with exercise and slightly modified Paleo. I'm hopeful for my two year plan to go. I WILL make it happen.

I wish I could but it looks like I'll be lucky to get out for a day, maybe two. I plan on hiking and camping this summer on the Ozark Trail, maybe we can plan a weekend for that!
What do you all think of a tablet (bigger onboard battery) vs a phone or GPS? Bigger screen, bigger battery, etc. The only thing I would worry about is waterproofing it.

I've used a Marlin 45/70 on white tail deer. I loved it. It does way less damage than my .270 and the 405gr flat nose shoots 1.5" groups at 100 yards. You won't regret it if you get it. They're an absolute blast to shoot.
