I flew with them last year. Thought they did a great job. Flew us in a day early and promptly got us out after tagging out. Killed two good bulls and saw thousands of caribou. Wouldn’t hesitate to go with them again.
Depends on the wife and your previous hunting habits I guess. I spent a long weekend archery antelope hunting less than two weeks after my first son was born
Ive got one of his summit barrels on a tikka action in 6.5 prc. Shoots factory eldm’s so well I haven’t bothered working on a load for it. Buy with confidence
Had the 380 elk tag a couple years ago. It's a lot tougher hunt than most think. I pretty much lived there through bow season and passed some nice bulls. Ended up filling my tag with a 300 class late in rifle. As far as deer, the biggest I saw was a small forkhorn.
I use both a wood stove and propane heater in my 14x16 wall tent. Wood stove at night, and to dry clothes. Propane in the morning because it is easy to sneak an arm out of the sleeping bag to light, and gets warm relatively quick (nice to get dressed in warmth in the a.m.). In my experience...
one of my good friends makes calls. the only thing i will use. check out davidhalloranturkeycalls.com.... best you will ever put your hands on. promise.
Im also using a tight spot. Just got it this year, so another question to add to the thread is: if you are using a removable quiver, do you actually remove it while hunting (during setups and shot opportunities)?? I always used to, but the tight spot feels like it helps to balance my bow a bit.
