I have an old Sims Sportsman Stove. It's an older one with the WY plate instead of Billings MT where they are located now.
I've spent a few months trying to get ahold of them. Very difficult to get someone on the phone. When I finally did, I was told that due to health issues he is no longer...
Anyone hunt here? Spent a little time in there last season but not much.
My main area is near there but I didn't see any fresh sign at all yesterday so I think I'm moving on.

Can you hunt York islands (or the other small ones) between Toston & Townsend MT? The maps are confusing and contradict at times.

My old woobie is at least 25 years old. Still in heavy rotation, especially on the couch during those cold winter nights watching a movie. Probably has over a thousand Backcountry miles on it... Getting kinda thin.
So I ordered one of the newer ones. Thicker and with a zipper. Says 2.2 lbs but...
After using the app for a few years I have alot of different waypoints marked and a ton of info in there.
How do I save this stuff for the inevitable day when I lose that phone?
Also, in the same vein, can I transfer this information to my laptop? It would make escouting alot easier to manage...
Haven't posted in a while, figured I'd share this here
Mr Zinke-
First of all, I genuinely hope this small voice reaches you. Sincerely. I didn't know how else to reach out to you, so I did it this way. Hope it works.
I am one of the many people you spoke to on your initial run for office...
Pretty interesting podcast with Hank Shaw about processing, preserving, and cooking game meat.

Im a lifelong rafter and have all the gear and experience needed for a multiday "expedition" style float. What I don't have is any experience in the Breaks.
Been sort of obsessing on the idea of a 4-5 day solo hunt/float lately.
Any info anybody would be willing to share would be greatly...
Thinking of running one on my small frame for day gear and as a load panel.
Interested to hear any real world experience.
Thanks

Anyone use them? Specifically looking at the "baby eagle" Riley Stove Baby Eagle Wood Stove

I have an old Necchi sewing machine that does great. Light industrial that I bought refurbished off eBay several years ago. Currently living in an old tiny sewing stand like everybody's mom used to have.
I'm thinking about building a big cutting/sewing table in my basement. 6'x8', shop table...
