    Never really found it to make a difference in taking the shot. Coming to rest with two points of contact is much more effective. It does help on follow through and getting back on target while running the action.

    I've had my hard contacts dislodged when in the field by things like a branch slapping me in the face or a foreign object popping one off when blinking. So, I feel the need to wear safety or sunglasses in addition to the contacts. I see better with contacts, but if I have to wear glasses anyway...

    Dawn, warm water and a microfiber cloth. If in the field, just water. I'll leave it dirty rather than clean without plenty of fluid to flush abrasives away before wiping. A large part of the price you pay is for quality of coatings. Don't monkey with the coatings. They go bad from age soon enough.

    I've used a pair of the Yosemite quite a lot for several years. I use them for finding squirrels. They are very handy and sufficient for the task in good light. Low light performance isn't what I find acceptable for other hunting.

    I askes this as what have you killed that you couldn't with a 308 ans 2-7x scope. The consensus was very little. Shooting much past 300 yards at game in windy conditions is a specialized skill set most dont have time for.
