I have the Stryker XL and love it, although I know what people mean when they say it fits loose. The back panel is tight to the frame, just like any of their packs. However the front can sag a little when empty due to the design. It has never affected me in a negative way, and once to fill it...
It is a draw tag now, they offer 300 tags for that area. You can still draw it on second choice but would have had to put in for it before the draw. Left over tags came out today and it was not one of them.

Another vote for the benro, I've had it for almost two years and is still going strong. I had it in 6degree weather last November on a late season mule deer hunt and it stayed smooth even at that low temp.

In cold weather I usually start with a merino baselayer, then a peloton 200 hoodie, after that if needed I got an Arc’teryx atom LT insulated jacket on sale a few years ago. All of that fits pretty good under my size large guide jacket.
