Looks like I am headed backbto unit 71 after a couple years away. Anyone hunt it the past year or so for archery, if so how was it? Did there seem to be good conditions. I have hunted it 4 years now and some spots seems great one year and a bust the next.
Any update would be great.

I have been to CO 4 times now and like i said above i have done archery and rifle elk hunts. I have dug through stats and go hunt. There is not a lot of difference from 3 points to 6 points for non residents. I don't see a good enough reason to save more points, I will do that in another state...
So i am looking for some recommendations on units for a non resident to look at for the 2022 Elk season. I have gohunt and have looked at that but it would be nice to see what others would do. With 4 points and not wanting to wait forever what unit would be at the top of your list. We have done...

I am looking to use my 2 points for antelope for 2020. The plan is to take the wife so she can experience why i love hunting the west, we are from Michigan. I was looking at unit 45 and it seems like access is good and harvest rates. Just curious if others have hunted the unit would mind giving...
Going on a Colorado Archery hunt and i am looking to lighten the pack a little. Right now i have a Canon Rebel T5i with 2 lens, 18-55 and 75-300. I would really like to only take one lens and cant decide if i should take one of the two i have or to get an inbetween lens that can kind of do both...
This might not be the best spot for this but i will be in San Jose area in the early part of October for work. I was wondeirng if there are any good hunting opportunities in the area for Mule Deer or something else. I am game for almost anything that does not take more than 3 days.
Seeing what...
Thank you for that. I thought i was going crazy with the regions. Gohunt does not show the changes yet for non residents. Any other tips for 92.. I am pretty sure that will be the unit i go with. If solo i may end up doing hotel for a night or two, any in the area that are cheap and not a...
Thanks for the info. So i can only find one map but it looks like part of the unit i wont be able to hunt since i am a non-resident and no guide. Are there batter maps that show those areas. I have onx but i am not seeing anything for that.
Thanks
I am looking to do my first mule deer hunt this year for Rifle. I did some research and am looking at unit 94 in Wyoming. Does anyone have suggestions on the type of hunt that unit is. It looks open / sage brush, I have never hunted that type of terrain but am game for anything. Is there things...
I am looking to do my first mule deer hunt this coming year. I have 2 points in Wyoming and was looking at unit 96, 97, 132 or 134 for rifle. The south West part of the state looks pretty open vs a little more wilderness. I am not looking for giant trophy buck, I am just getting into western...
We are looking into first or middle of September. We prefer to backpack in for several days at a time. This will be our first Archery elk hunt so still figuring out the exact style we will hunt. I think we were looking mostly at 25 and 19A but that is just from the the little research we have...
