    I’m not sure what to make of it either. The presentation of the original struck me (and it seems others) as odd, and the various follow up responses solidified that thought. It’s unusual that there is a product like this that doesn’t have a single review on Amazon, or anywhere that I can find...

    I received mine (8x42) yesterday and got to test them out yesterday afternoon and evening. I don't have any high end binoculars, and could only compare these to a pair of 12x42 Nikon Monarch's that are about 15-years old and the Sightron 8x32 binoculars that sometimes are recommended here...

    Cutting some slots to allow for some thermal expansion is a good tip. The pipes getting stuck together, and the stove not venting properly were the two main complaints I've seen in reviews. Hoping we can solve those as a group!

    The Black Friday price was $650. I did not get an email notifying me the form 3 had been filed. Bauer sent a shipping notification before Christmas, but the tracking still shows that the label was created and usps has not received the package.

    I picked up the Diligent Defense Enticer L Ti from Bauer during their Black Friday sale. Good pricing on it still, especially tomorrow. It’s worth noting that it still hasn’t shipped.
