    40 mile air

    We carried a platypus gravity 2 liter water filter. Worked great for 4 guys. Kept two collapsible water jugs. One for dirty water from the creek/ditch and one for clean. 40 mile dropped us 100 yards from water.

    40 Mile Air 2020!

    We went opening weekend 2017 and had a great trip. We went 4 for 4 on nice caribou. They dropped us in a great spot and had caribou walking through camp.

    Exactly what Larry said. Watch them, they will travel a route. Then pick an ambush point. These guys were 70 yards from camp, care less that we were there.

    If this helps. I’m average build, 5’7” tall 145 pounds and the medium light down packable fits me great. Large is way to big for me.

    We had the luxury of time so we drove to Tok from Georgia. 40 mile air has a mail flight that come in from a few major airports once or twice a week I believe. You can catch a flight with them to Tok.
