Super Affordable Texas Whitetail, Hog, Exotics Hunt
I have a ranch that hasn't been hunted now in over 10 years that is just "run over" in game. My outfitter and the landowner are trying to knock down the critter count this ranch and start getting a better management system in place. The shot...
For those of you looking to hunt Mountain Goats in your lifetime and feel scared you will never draw, there are guaranteed tag options in Alaska that are still affordable. This "fly in" hunt comes with all your flights built into the cost from Cordova. It is not uncommon on this hunt to see...
I have an aoudad hunt that is free range and on a huge ranch outside of Lubbock, Texas. They only pull about 5 rams a year off this ranch and this hunt is a blast with tons of spot and stock opportunity. Rams are shot over 30 every year and I was able to shoot one, spot and stock with my bow...
Now is the time for guaranteed tag hunts (while I still have them) with all my clients that didn't draw tags. I have elk and a few deer hunts still with spots available. Specifically, I have New Mexico, 100,000 acres, guaranteed tag, elk hunts for $7500. Bulls on this ranch average 250-320...
Dang...some of you didn't draw elk or deer tags this year ...me neither, by the way. Well, what now??? Luckily I have several ranches in Idaho, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico that still have guaranteed tags left fairly late each season. Now, almost all of them are associated with guided hunts and...

You'd loose, Goat can go where the best mules or horses just can't. I have run both goats and mules and it's not even close. They can fit through smaller places, go under things, and log walk as well as pick up steep rock pitches that a mule just can't. Nothing against mules...they just don't...

First off, all your questions can be answered on PackGoats.com I'd start off at the FAQ and then listen to a few podcasts. Also look into the YouTube channel by the same name, you should get what you need there. Yes, to what Brad said, do not leave them unattended in camp EVER. There is a...
Here is a link to a video I did this last year with my string...they are an amazing critter and I enjoy helping new packers get into what we do. Using Pack Goats for Hunting Elk - YouTube
There is no risk if you have tested goats that you know are negitive...Any good goat packer and all that I know have their goats tested regularly and keep a closed herd. They recently tested over 500 packgoats and came up with only one (unconclusive) positive of movie in a baby.
Many breeds are used but I prefer Alpine and Alpine crosses. My favorite crosses are Alpines with Obers, Saanan, and Sabers (Saanan/Boer cross) Best breeder in the country is Dwite Sharpe out of Kansas. IMO
