Most comfortable boot for my feet something I can’t find in any other boot I’ve tried. They leak like a sieve never had a pair make a year after three pairs had to give up.
I like stiffer boots as a rule but I bought some scarpa grand dru and started braking them in but they broke me. I ended up with torn tendon two years later and just getting better. I’m scared to even put the boots on.
I have a 300 win mag weighs just over five pounds bare rifle. Very accurate very light but your shooting form better be good to get the accuracy out of it.
All I’m saying is if your going to say how accurate your gun is put up a target with holes in the bullseye. If not I’m going to assume it’s a random group that the bullets just decided to land close to each.
I really don’t understand why guys post pictures like this and many do the group is nowhere close to point of aim. Then they say they can group like this constantly. When I see targets like this it makes a guy think he got a lucky 3 shot group. A target like this means nothing to me. Sorry for...
My hunting is all walking no stand hunting so most packs are too noisy. I was thinking of making a rain cover but out of fleece material. Anyone try that if so how did it work out.
Get some boot covers that repair men use to go into your house with their boots on Look around because there’s some really cheap ones that you couldn’t get out of your driveway without wrecking them but there’s some that are quite thick on the bottom. Walk outside and test boots look like new...
This guy probably doesn’t even pack a spare tire for his truck or a first aid kit sounds like accidents don’t happen to this guy. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t get out much. Accidents happen you should be prepared
Another thing to think about is what does a used custom gun sell for compared to a used gunwerks. In my experience you only get a very small fraction of what you have into a custom gun. Just another angle to think about.
I would be careful with the Lowa Tibet’s I’ve had 3 pairs first pair was good so I bought another pair when they wore out. They leaked just 3weeks in. Got another pair because they fit so good. They leaked right away I’m done with Lowa. I buddy of mine bought a new pair of Lowa sheep hunters...
Here where I live there’s a guy that puts calks in hiking boots for loggers and timber cruisers they work well for certain kinds of terrain. OP never said where he’s going hunting or what terrain he’ll be in. I’ve used the slip on spikes and really wanted them to work and they do on lots of...
Depends on terrain kathoola spikes come off when used hard. Crampons too aggressive wood gets stuck in them and aluminum ones not good in the rocks. Calk boots work really well in the wet forest steep mountains getting up to where the goats are in coastal areas. But with a review like you gave...
