I see these license requirements as my way of supporting game departments in other states and hopefully maintain the ability to hunt there again in the future. A donation basically.
I learned that when the locals are leaving then I should too, even if the sky is still blue. Something is changing and they are leaving for good reason.
I use this as well. Picked up 20% horse spray at farm store and dilute to the 0.5% and spray clothes. Have not found tick since starting it couple years ago. Permethrin does have human applications, so should be safe.
How will each respond to placement that hits bone before vitals? Wondering which is more forgiving of poor placement. Better placement is the goal but things happen.
If you are 6-2 it might be a pretty tight fit. I'm 5-11 and it seemed to get small pretty quick. Solid price, lightweight, but not great in wind and not a lot of space if spending extended time in it.
I think the advice to avoid surgery unless you absolutely have to do it is best, but that has a lot to do with your age and each specific injury. There are good rehab programs out there that often can help you avoid surgery. Living in remote area makes it tough, but some good stuff out there...
Gotten some great help from a member here putting together a bear fence kit. Planning to have 2 strips of the electric 1 inch tape around camp and was curious what height folks try to put them. Still working on post ideas so I have flexibility to adjust at this point. Thanks.

Considering dropping the bag this year and using cargo panel with lid for day hunts. Read some of the older options. Looking for system to attach bladder between duplex frame and inside the cargo panel. Appreciate assistance, especially any pictures.
I sleep cold and don't want to go unprepared again. Looking at picking up sleeping bag liner like a sea to summit reactor vs just packing more clothes to wear inside the bag. Liner keeps bag clean and is light, clothes are probably going to be going along anyhow, or maybe back at truck. Any...
Permethrin is applied directly to the skin for kids with scabies and the scalp and hair for lice. It can be toxic, as well as some people may have reactions as can happen with anything. In general though if spraying on outside of clothing and allowed to completely dry, should pose a pretty low...
Used to be a product for poison ivy immunotherapy (shots) that worked well, but get taken off market by FDA. Saw some good results for people who typically reacted badly, but like so many things got pulled and never returned to market. Avoidance if possible, followed by washing any exposed areas...
I have used single Lone Wolf climbing stick for years to elevate cameras and it prevents theft as well as moves it out of line of sight for wildlife. Might want to have an idea ahead of time how you will tilt the camera to get it where you want it.
