Glad you are doing better, keep up on the spirometer and flutterer exercises. Hope you get out o the hospital soon. I was lucky, only spent 5 days in the hospital with COVID/Pneumonia.
My original thought was monocular thermal scanner for detection and the shooter with a rifle mounted light, but more research and following your line of thinking, the thermal monocular scanner and the NV scope on the rifle might be a better route for now. I'm assuming the IR light will allow the...
Getting ready to retire soon and want to get into some nighttime predator hunting. My initial thought is to get a decent thermal scanner (been really looking at Pulsars) and then going with a light on the rifle (maybe a wicked light). Most of the hunting would be in rolling farm terrain. Mostly...
I owed in 2018, so no direct deposit info on file for me. Owed in 2019 and filed/paid on Apr 15th, it took about a week before I could enter my direct deposit info. When asked to enter 2019 AGI the website told me that it was incorrect, IRS must not have entered that data yet. So, I entered my...

The post about driving over the Navajo dam reminds me of the time we drove over The Dalles dam in an M1 tank, that was kind of hairy! ODOT wouldn't let us drive over the bridge because they were afraid of harmonic vibrations from the tank tracks damaging the bridge, who knew. lol
Not real sketchy, but makes a good story around the campfire. I was out deer hunting with my oldest boy and his friend (both about 6 years old) just driving around and this old road goes across the river, not real deep 12" - 24" and about 50 yards across. At the time I was driving a Ford 2WD...
I have wet okoles, bought them in Hawaii in 2010, they are neoprene and your ass can get sweaty. Back on the mainland now and they are still going good, except small wear spot on the the drivers side from sliding in and out.
ElkElkGoose-yes, I can see where I am part of the problem. I am upgrading old school gear, maybe some older than you if you are under 40! Talking about cotton, blue jeans, etc. Just trying to catch up with technology.
As someone that is getting back into hunting, I need all these gotta have the newest stuff guys just so I can upgrade my gear without paying the new price. But, once I get upgraded to what works for me I will use it until it wears out or breaks..
