  1. DesertRat

    Check out this video.

Cart That cart is a custom one-off build that is based off of a one wheeled cart called "the mule" about 10 years ago. It's absolutely the best for hauling out heavy loads without blowing out your knees. Works great in tight quarters and goes over about anything. -Andrew

    Is "Full Containment" Overrated?

I use to think full capture wasn't necessary and I still think that...but full capture is really nice since you don't have to think about anything other than making the shot. I now use it on my hunting rig with the Full Containment Hamskea VersaRest in limb actuated mode.

    Micro-Adjust Drop Away Rest Poll

I voted for the Hamskea VersaRest because I believe it the absolute most durable rest that has unmatched accuracy (just won the 2013 IBO World Championship in the Men's Open Pro division thanks to Tim Gillingham this past weekend) of all the rests and it doesn't have any plastic parts. Simple...

Spot Hogg Whammie vs. Trophy Taker Smackdown Pro FC

Hamskea VersaRest is a tank...and as for accuracy, it just won the Men's Open Pro IBO World Championship thanks to Tim Gillingham.

    Hamskea Versa Rest instructions?

If you're having any issues with the vane contact issues with the flat wide full containment launcher, make sure the halo chord is wrapped around the pressure screw of the lever arm on the "inside" position. That is position that makes the chord closest to the center of the shaft. The further...

    Trekking poles? How to choose?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll be picking up a pair as I blew out my ankle this weekend. Might miss the entire Colorado season. I wish I had bought those poles sooner. ;-(

    Trekking poles? How to choose?

Okay...so I've never used trekking poles but I'm getting older and I don't want to fall on my @$$ plus my younger hunting buddies all use them so they must either be in vogue, my friends are older than they say the are or these poles actually help you get along. I'm thinking they actually help...

Anyone use the hamskea versa rest

Justin, If you have any questions on the rest, shoot me a PM. I shot 8 animals with the prototype last year. It works from DIY bivy elk here in Colorado to treestand whitetails in Kansas. Shawn Monsen shot his caribou on Adak Island (reference Bone Collector TV show) and Chase Fulcher just...
