Sitka Gear package

Stratus pants-Forrest L $150
Stratus gloves-Forrest L $35
Vest-can't remember L $55
I just don't use them since I mostly do early season archery. Used only a couple of times and no issues/tears.
Let me know if I am off on the price.
Would like...
I used the Maxpedition Gearslinger as my diaper bag. I think the Sitka is too big for what is needed. The gearslinger was the right size, easy to carry and didn't feel bulky. Enough room to carry a bottle and a backup as well as several diapers, a change of clothes, a small thing of wipes...
Nice man. Drive safe. Too bad not making it through here, would be happy to meet again, make Randy ^^^ drive down from CDA to meet us. I am getting ready to set the trap line and reading along on a elk hunt makes getting back to the woods even more exciting.

Your timing is just about spot on. I was going to start updating tomorrow. I got some additional traps, bait, gear, etc. for getting started. The season actually starts in two days, but with having a day job, it will be Saturday before I can get out to set traps. A friend was out two weeks ago...
Getting closer folks.
Just ordered three more traps and various gear to get ready. I could be out now, but the zone that has opened is just too far away to justify the cost. I will have to be patient for 17 more days. I am ready to make it happen.
I used to live there, then moved to Big Bear Lake and now I am in Idaho. I sure hope you have a really good paying job cause Santa Clarita is expensive for SoCal. Anyway, Sespe Wilderness North of Fillmore has a lot of area and not a lot of hunters since most hunters go to the North side through...
Well if I get one trapping this year maybe I will keep some meat and throw it in the smoker (if I get it finished by then), just to give it a try. If I can eat rodents (squirrel), then I guess I can man up and take a bite of this?
Unfortunately they are not allowed, nor the lighted nocks. Surprising actually, even crazy California, the most restrictive hunting standards around, allows both.
But neither of those make killing something any easier. Good luck.
That cow crushing bumper looks good. That is what my truck is missing. You will love the power steps with a lifted truck. I think they are great and come down just about right for a 6" lift.
I look forward to seeing it in person next fall.
