Sir i wanted to know other people's experiences but like you are noticing some people have started name calling and arguing and have swayed away from the topic.
Nightmare is having your optics sent again and again. Sometime for months at a time. I know the issue is small but it is big hassle and costs $35 each time to ship.
Here is picture of some thread/Fiber that was sticking inside my ELs when they came back after cleaning last year from SONA. It was like 3 to 4 mm long fiber with one edge wedged between the wall and the lens.
Swarovski is on the top in terms of quality and innovation but not by sales. And I never said anything about swaroski's products. My concern is with SONA repair department having slip ups recently.
The point is that if I damage it , I have no problem. But factory new products that cost $2300 should not have issues. And If they do companies should fix it. If customers ask for it, manufacturers will have to provide it. We pay them for design , manufacturing and warranty in advance.

I asked SONA if i can send my binoculars to Austria service center and i was told products bought in USA have to go through SONA and binoculars will be serviced in USA only.
Solution is to buy from European dealers. Swarovski products will cost little cheaper this way.

All optics manufacturers have dust free rooms, you can watch youtube videos of swarovski , aimpoint , vortex etc. But swarovski's quality controls are falling, thats the whole thread about.
