    DIY Jacket?

I made a raglan sleeve Apex insulation zip up puffy last winter after I finished making my new sleeping bag. It was a learning experience but was not that difficult at all to create the pattern and execute it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

What exactly was it doing? I've done several of the Rx 1's and Williams turbo and haven't had any really strange issues yet.

Kifaru hunter frame vs tactical frame

I ran the original Duplex frame for quite a while and then switched to a Bikini frame, with a few mods I fell in love with it and couldn't have been happier however I missed the way that the duplex frame allowed me to just absolutely cinch down a load and the way that it settled in place and did...

    DIY 3/4 Zip-Off Puffy Pant

I used apex insulation for my jacket and robic 1.0 for the inner and outer shell since I wanted a synthetic but breathable jacket, if I need to block the wind then I toss on my rain jacket over the top. I sewed the apex to the inner shell at the edge of each piece and then kept the outer shell...

What is earliest season you use a stove??

I run a Liteoutdoors 18" with a 4' stovepipe in my megatarp and love it. spent the first 10 days of season last year in rain and snow storms solo and wished that I had it with! even on some of the summer scouting trips it would have been nice since I woke up in 4" of snow last July.

    Camp meat

I typically shoot any grouse that I can while I am up hunting and normally while I am scouting in the summer I will bring my fly rod with to supplement a dried meal but I don't count on having anything extra, just enjoy it when I do. Especially the first meal off of a big game animal when I have...

I ran the Robic 1.0 xl on the inside and the outside of my new sleeping bag and love it. I have had it on several trips this winter already and it has worked perfectly... pm me if you have any questions about working with it.

    Need some quilt material advice

I made a new sleeping bag earlier this year out of robic and can't recommend it enough. It doesn't feel clammy against the skin, breaths very well but drapes and has a very soft hand (finish).
