    Truck camping stove question

I've used a dual fuel two burner for years. The two burner is much more stable, you don't have to worry about your pans tipping over, etc. And you can heat two different things at once. A few years ago I bought a propane adaptor for it. It slides right in were the fuel nozzle goes, it can be...

butcher box vs mail order meals

You should talk to your local farmers, it's quite a bit cheaper than everywhere else. We sell beef by the 1/4, half, etc. Our steers were sold commercially for years right to the big packers. So we were paid by how well the cattle graded (choice, prime, etc.). Our herd genetics and feeding...

When you have to shoot (a rifle) at an animal that is further than your zero, what method do you use to compensate for the shot?

The dots are a certain moa apart. The speed of your round depends on were your dots line up. A 30-30 might be a 100 yard zero, then 150, 200, 250 A 30-06 has a 200 yard zero then 300, 400, etc A 300wby might be a 300 yard zero, then 400, 500, etc Its pretty easy to set up.

When you have to shoot (a rifle) at an animal that is further than your zero, what method do you use to compensate for the shot?

With a bdc reticle, sight the rifle in on the lowest mark. With a Leupold B&C reticle the lowest mark is for 500 yards. Then you have marks for 450, 400, and 300. Plus the center cross hair with a 200ish zero. The easiest way to sight it in,is to put a target at 500 yards, then "zero" your 500...

“High Wild and Free” on AmazonTV

Its a good film. Id say the old days were a lot like today. A guy who made a living filming the outdoors, would spend quite a bit more time outdoors, then the average working stiff.

    Favorite Midlayer.

A wool flannel shirt. They are tough, cheap, warm. They are a good work layer. You dont have to worry about melting it or snagging it. If it gets hot you can unbutton, etc. There's a reason they have been worn by people who work in the outdoors for over 100 years.
