Saw stays in my pack because I am usually hunting deer and elk at the same time.
Its for getting to an elk or deer that has died in some nasty brush patch .
I can cut away brush to work on the animal.
4 ozs is nothing to pack.
2 times now I have been called by friends and relatives to go and look for overdue family members.
Both times have turned out ok .
Trucks stuck , that type of thing.
I generally grab my hunting pack because its always ready to go.
Add food and water and layers maybe.
It got me to thinking is...
Thanks ,I kind thought bleach was best and probably cheapest too.
Is there a stain that prevents it from happening again, or a stain to avoid?
I have been staying away from polyurethane due to flaking and peeling problems.
I got some outside porch and pavillion exposed wood and this has happened over this winter.
Whats a guy to do?
I asked around to local stain guys and I get the "I ve never seen that before "
Is there a cleaner/killer that I can spray and then stain the wood darker maybe?
I have done both ways and a full canopy with a 4 " higher than cab height is where I am now .
The extra head room sure is nice
Make sure if its fiberglass ot has plywood molded in for extra strength for a roof rack
Thats about right for my pop up 28 belt.
I found it didnt seem to wrap arouud far enough for me.
I replaced the belt with a Kifaru so now its a great dayhunt pack for first and last loads out
