    The Gohunt Effect

thats fair, last 5 season structure been stupid but genetic potential is still there, age class just might not be though

    The Gohunt Effect

I dont disagree with what you saying just stating that you found the way to unlock potential thus why you keep going back.

    The Gohunt Effect

the gems arent because of the area, the gems are because you put in the work to unlock the potential of that area. Most units are managed for either opportunity or potential, first and for most the terrain usually dictates which one, doesnt mean they dont have high end potential, Easier...

    The Gohunt Effect

Yes joke post …..but its still one of the top archery elk units in the state, same with 851. Just not for public land. fad thing its just that top units are top units and lessor units ebb and flow through the years. CO archery elk changes over last 10 years is prefect example, no body has...

.257 Weatherby Magnum for Idaho spring black bear?

you’re fine I use 115 vld’s. Just stay mid body. taken dozens of aoudad, oryx, elk, mule deer, bear etc. I dont recommend the monolithics for extended ranges though. lack luster performance

Sitka Ambient and Mountian Evo ?

Yes, started with the system hunting in Aug last year above treeline for sheep and finished with it in Jan chasing mulies and aoudad. So essentially 5 months and temps from 18-80degrees. I use the Evo as my rain jacket and outter wind layer. I use to be a big mid layer grid fleece guy, I now...

    The Gohunt Effect

Just like the dude crying in the NM thread about people posting hunt codes they did or didnt draw. There are no surprise units any where and there hasn't been for decades. its not rocket science, the easiest sheep tag to draw is always the hardest and lowest success hunt. Elk and Mulie deer...

    Kubota vs John Deere

First choice is the local dealership with best reputation then <100HP = orange, But all the sub 100hp tractor are similar , what every option you want at the best price, is where I would go. In sub 100hp, I have owned Case, JD, Mahindra, and Kubota. I prefer Mahindra >100 Case and then JD

    Bighorn Sheep Tag Process

It’s Mexico. Think about the lack of oversight. Double edge sword, more rams equal lower costs, but questionable free chase On lions its pretty easy to spot the turn out lions. Wild lion or lions that have been turned out for a long time will have short manes. Big long thick manes…. didnt...
