I think they could tell you up front if the boot type or material is proper for stretching or fitting. The guy I used was in Seattle (now in Leavenworth WA), and he was able to stretch my boots but told my climbing partner he was SOL with his Scarpa Ribelle Techs because of material and fit.

I’ve struggled with this too because I have very wide feet. I took my scarpa mont Blancs to a boot fitter and had them stretch the toe box and that opened them up a lot
Went to a new spot for moose this year and my partner and I knocked down a 62” and a 61” bull. 30-06 for one 375 H&H for the other. We were out for 12 days and only saw the two moose.
I have a Savage ultralight in 6.5 creedmoor I’m looking to sell or trade. I’m interested in a Kimber in 270 or larger or a nice spotting scope. I’m located in Alaska.
36-38 in normal pants. These will fit much larger because of the belt strap attached to them. I like my rain pants bigger so I can pull them over my pants and clothing I’m already wearing
I have a pair of used KUIU chugach pants in Vias. They have a couple small tears starting down at the bottom of the legs but nothing that affects function. Pants are in good serviceable shape. I can’t find the size tag but I’m pretty sure they are XXXL as that’s the size I wear. $100 shipped.
Your son is old enough to go caribou hunting. I took my son when he was that old. I’ll be taking my younger son caribou hunting next year and he’ll be 8. Fly in hunts.
I met my best hunting partner this same way. Another guy bailed on me on a pre planned Alaska moose hunt, so I hit up another hunter from a forum I had chatted with and then next thing you know we are hunting moose in Alaska and elk in the west. We are headed back up again next year to hunt moose.
I'm tired of waiting for this to come back in stock at Cabelas. Does anybody have an aluminum tent pole for the Cabelas Alaskan guide six man tent that they want to sell?
