    We don’t want to see a dog “running” head down in the field, the pheasant track is meant as a change of focus and is a separate event. Only done on pups 16months or under. There’s a duck drag for the UPT and UT tests, really just an exercise in obedience and cooperation.

    Client dog on a guided hunt

    Limited experience with only two guided hunts, but both allowed us to bring dogs. This latest we elected not to because we thought we’d be in a group with others. Turned out it was just and the guide, wish we had brought our dogs. Guide dog on day one was horrible.

    I run a refurbished Fenix 6x Sapphire, works great and Garmin support was fantastic when I did have an issue 18 months ago.

    I’ve got a PH2 in 6CM, absolutely fantastic gun. Haven’t had to use the warranty yet, so I can’t speak on that end of things. Gun is a tack driver with ELDM.

    Agreed. We were there mid-October in 2020, and I ended up buying a spotter in town. Big country and you can see a long ways.

    Can the Garmin Alpha 200i work without the second antenna?

    Yes, the whip antenna is for the UHF to communicate with the collar, so you should be good to go. I've got one handy (great upgrade over the 100) if you have any other questions.
