I bow hunt and really haven't shot since the 90's when my daughters were able to start hunting...started shooting a lot again last summer after buying an LWRC 556 and I'm really enjoying it and want to buy a range/hunting rifle...I have it narrowed down to 3 chambered in 6.5 CM, all basically...
I like both these packs and trying to decide between them...
Mainly want to use for hunting whitetails, so tree stand hunting and scouting, EDC and also occasional trips - day hunts (coues, antelope, etc..).

If any of you guys have been there done that..Curious what layers to plan on taking. The hunt will be next January in Sonora, Mexico. Spot and stalk, ambush, ground blind...Archery hunt.

I have the Super Down top & bottom for back packing...looking at the Kelvin for a mid layer while tree stand hunting, thinking it might be a little warmer.
For those that have used both, is the Kelvin warmer...better suited for stand hunting?

Spot & stalk on a salmon stream...got off the stream on to a muskeg...came straight in to the call & got to within 10 yards. Shot was 16, 30 yard recovery!!!!
