    Hey all, I drew my first out of state permit for archery deer and have put in the hours e-scouting. I plan to put boots on the ground in mid-July. My question is does anyone have any info/comments on Deer Creek Peak or Parrot Peak area? Or, am I better off starting over by the Trout Creek...

    Eastern Oregon OTC DIY Archery Elk Hunt

    How did your hunt go? I have experience in Unit 50. Yes, lots of people but there is ground to hunt. Opening weekend is always crowded but mid-week there is generally less. And if you get off the road in some areas, you'll have spots to yourself. Desolation has some beautiful country.

    WY Mule Deer/Prong Horn combo suggestions...

    Looking at doing a similar hunt this year with my brother. We're considering a region for Deer that has Antelope areas that we can draw with zero or 1 point. We'll see how it goes - we're not going for big animals, more the experience for sure.
