I had a carbon steel grohman belt knife with the open sheath. It had a belt loop that hung from the top, so kinda flopped around a bit. While running to head off a buck, knife flopped out, lost forever. I miss that knife.

Glad it’s working out! I just had my first cria hit the ground a few weeks ago. Who or what are your training influences if I may ask as a new guy?

I have a Sako 85 338 win mag coming and a nightforce SHV 3-10x42. Looking to mount them securely and low. Any experience with any of these on the Sako dovetails?

I don’t have anything to add other than what I often read on threads about suppressors. Long barrels are awkward with suppressors, and how much speed will I give up in a short barrel? Are some cartridges just better in short barrels? Like short mags or short action cartridges? Or perhaps are...
Good to know! So far my three girls will eat from my hand, but no other touching is allowed. I need to figure a good place and way to bottleneck them in the pasture...

Any experience with old 1/4- 1 hp #22 or #32 Hobart grinders vs a modern Weston, cabelas, or LEM? I like the idea of something I can pass down, but higher hp modern grinders might actually do better?

Anyone use an overbarrel suppressor to keep a longer barrel length? My impression is that they’re popular in New Zealand and Europe, could be wrong though.
