I've had both my dogs come along on trips and never had them poke holes in the floor or my sleeping pad. I did buy a woobie for my dog to sleep on though and i think this will also help protect the floor or sleeping pad. Other thing to think about is how quickly your dog dries...if they tend to...
I have hunted in Blue Stone's area in BC. There are quite a few sheep in the outfit and you should see legal rams on a trip there. The rams aren't as big as those in the NE part of BC but there's still some pretty sheep in Blue Stone's area.
Yes. The pack i have for my dog is the wilderness wanderer dog pack. Could easily fit 50lbs+ in the saddle bags obviously that would be too much for my dog. I won't think WW is making packs anymore though. I did buy a 2nd pack when one came available used. If you have trouble finding a bigger...
I have hunted stones with 2 guys and my dog in a nallo 3 gt. There was lots of room inside the sleeping portion of the tent for the 2 dudes and dog...no problem! Good luck on your hunt!

I've done a few float hunts. One for mixed species and one for sheep. We were successful on both. I would say both trips were significantly more work than just backpacking but the raft can get you into country you otherwise may not be able to hunt. The fly in and float out option is definitely...
I tried to book a flight last summer into some lakes in the north central Yukon. The charter was fine with everything until they found out we were hunting and then started suggesting other lakes that the outfitter doesn't use. That was with Alkan...the week we were planning on going they ended...
Keep an eye on Kijiji and sometimes they also pop up on hbc. The MEC (outdoorgearswap.com) sometimes has them as well. I bought a nallo 3 gt new a few years back...don't remember where i bought it from though.
